Earth Day-Community Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 19st (rain date April 20nd) on the Knowlton Green at Connecticut College, 270 Mohegan Avenue, New London.  (In the event of rain on Sunday, ED-CD will be held in Crozier-Williams Student Center.) 

Environmental activities include educational displays, vendors, artists, storytelling, talks, guided arboretum tours, dancing, music, food and lots of fun! 

Some of the many participants include: Connecticut College Arboretum, Project Oceanology, Mystic Aquarium, Sierra Club, Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, SolarWrights, Coast Guard Academy Sustainability Club, Mystic Paper Beasts, singer Geoff Kaufman, Fiddleheads, Hygienic Art residents, Shaklee, Norwich Area Global Warming Action Group, and more! 

Come and celebrate the environment while learning more about energy conservation, solar energy, environmentally-friendly products, plant care and other important topics.
